About Me

I started this blog as a way to share my travels with friends and family back home. It has now grown to include my Outlander obsession as well.

Happy reading!

  1. Hello Mandy!

I love your blog and can’t wait to read more – thanks to Diana Gabaldon’s FB post this morning I found you. The Gaelic – English dictionary I purchased to go along with my books is good but not as handy for watching the show (although I don’t mind in the least rewinding to listen to Jamie over and over again to try to understand). Excellent blog!!

I too am Outlander obsessed as well as U.K. or bust obsessed for years and years (basically, I came out of the womb that way. 😉 ). We (fiancee) and I are planning on a visit to Scotland (!!!!!!!!! – first time) that we hope will be the beginning of finding a means to live in the U.K and bring my Acupuncture practice along. Would you be willing to talk to me (FB?, email?) about your experiences? Did you or do you live in the UK?

Thank you so much for reading this reply.

    Blessings!
    Heather L.

    1. Thanks. I’m glad you have enjoyed it. I have not (yet) lived in the UK, but I am leaving for Scotland tomorrow for a couple of weeks! There is a Facebook group you might be interested in called Outlandish Travels. There are a lot of people there who are in Scotland who provide travel related services, as well as people who are planning visits. It’s a lot of good information. I’m happy to talk on Facebook about my travels as well. Keep an eye on the blog too. I will be posting during the trip!

      Thanks again for reading! Mandy

    1. I’ve added a follow by email option now. You should see it down at the bottom. This is my travel blog, so it doesn’t get updated with Outlander things as much as my other GreatScotBlog.com site does. 🙂
